What surfaces does it work on?
Smooth and non-porous: tile, glass, mirror, sealed stone, metal, and gloss-painted surfaces. It will not hold on raw wood, brick, textured wallpaper, matt emulsion or anything with a grain or a pattern you can feel with your fingertips. Run your hand over the spot first — if it feels perfectly smooth, you are fine.
How much will it actually hold?
Up to 10 kg per hook on a clean, smooth surface. In practice you will hang a coat or a wet towel on it, which is a fraction of that.
Will it fall off in the night?
Not if the seal is clean and the surface is right. Wipe the spot with a dry cloth before you mount it — dust and soap film are what break a vacuum seal, not weight. If a hook ever loses grip, lift the lever, wipe both faces, and press it back on.
Can I move it once it's up?
As many times as you like. Flip the lever up, lift it off, press it somewhere else. Nothing is used up and nothing is left behind.
Will it damage the tile or the paint?
No. There is no adhesive and nothing that bonds to the surface. It comes off leaving a clean spot — which is the whole reason people buy it instead of drilling.
